    Ester-C® is a researched form of Vitamin C that supports immune system health. Ester-C® may lead to a more sustained retention of Vitamin C in the white blood cells than ascorbic acid in non smokers. It is a non-acidic form of Vitamin C and may be better tolerated than standard Vitamin C in people who are sensitive to acidic foods. Vitamin C is essential for the proper function of the immune system and decreases the duration and severity of common cold symptoms when taken regularly.

    Ingredients

    Each tablet provides:

    • Ester-C® 1500mg [Calcium ascorbate dihydrate 1.47g Equiv. Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) 1.15g,
    • Calcium L-threonate 18mg, Calcium carbonate 16.8mg],
    • Citrus bioflavonoids extract 100mg Equiv. Hesperidin 35mg.

     Formulated without:

    Gluten, wheat, animal products, dairy products, egg, soy, corn, artificial colours, artificial flavours, artificial sweeteners or preservatives.

    Dosage & Warnings

    Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 tablet twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

    Why is Ester-C® described as “non-acidic”?

    Ordinary Vitamin C is acidic (its scientific name is “ascorbic acid”), which means that it may cause gastrointestinal irritation in some people. The unique water-based process that Ester-C® undergoes, however, makes it non-acidic. This means that it can be gentler on the stomach than ordinary Vitamin C.

    Can I take this product during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

    Yes, at the recommended dose on the label.

    Can I take this product while I’m on medication?
    Always speak to your health care professional before commencing supplementation, especially if taking any prescription and/or non-prescription medication. It’s advised to be consumed 2 hours away from any medication

    What are Citrus Bioflavonoids, and why does this product contain them?

    Bioflavonoids are a family of compounds found in plants, which can have a wide range of health benefits, including cardiovascular, immune and nervous system support, through their antioxidant activity.  They are found in the pulp and white core that runs through the centre of citrus fruits (such as lemons, oranges and limes), green peppers and grapes. These compounds may protect cells from free radical damage. Free radicals are toxins in the body that can damage healthy cells.
