Opsite Flexifix Roll Gentle 10Cmx5M Each

Film dressings are composed of a thin polyurethane membrane coated with a layer of acrylic adhesive. Whilst being extremely flexible and allowing visualisation of the wound without disturbance, they hold no properties to absorb wound exudate. These dressings are typically used to manage superficial, minimally exuding wounds and in the case of stage 1 pressure ulcers, offer some protection against friction and shearing forces. Film dressings are not suitable for full thickness, infected or moderate to highly exuding wounds.

Moisture Vapour Permeable Adhesive Film Dressing Transparent, Silicone Adhesive Firm Roll OPSITE™ Flexifix Gentle combines breathability, transparency and a seven day wear time to offer a versatile silicone film roll for patients with fragile or at-risk skin. It removes cleanly, without disrupting fragile skin layers or causing patients undue pain. This dressing combines all the benefits of OPSITE film, with a gentle silicone gel adhesive that enables the dressing to be lifted and repositioned without losing adherent properties. The film is transparent, shower and bacteria proof, allowing monitoring of the site under the film without lifting the dressing. The low friction film helps to protect the skin from the formation of pressure injuries.
