Directions

Match the child’s weight to the chart below. If the weight is not known then match the age of the child. If your child weighs less than 8 kg (or is under 6 months of age) or more than 18 kg, please consult your doctor about adjusting the dosage amount. Do not give more than 4 doses in a 24-period

Insert into the rectum.
Insert the large/thick end first.
For ease of insertion, the suppository can be moistened just before insertion.
Do not use for more than 48 hours at a time except on medical advice.

Active ingredients per suppository:
Paracetamol 125mg

Also contains Methyl and Propyl Hydroxybenzoate.

Warnings

For rectal use only.
Keep out of reach of children.
Always read the label. Use only as directed.
If symptoms persist consult your healthcare professional.
Do not give more than 4 doses in one day or within any 24-hour period.
Do not use for more than 48 hours at a time except on medical advice.

Do not use:

  • If your child is allergic to paracetamol.
  • If using other medicines containing paracetamol.
  • For the first time in children under 2 years of age, except on medical advice.
  • For more than 48 hours at a time, except on medical advice.
  • If the package seals are broken or the use-by-date has expired.
  • Until you have read the enclosed leaflet carefully.

Ask a doctor before use if your child:

  • Has liver or kidney problems.
  • Weighs less than 8 kg or more than 18 kg.
  • Stop use and see your doctor if your child.
  • Has an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after taking this medication.
