Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream is a highly concentrated moisturising cream which provides a unique, long-lasting barrier from bodily fluids, whilst replenishing the skin. This therapeutic and moisturising barrier cream provides an advanced level of protection for at-risk skin. Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream protects the skin against bodily fluids such as urine and faeces, and is ideal to prevent skin breakdown in incontinent patients. The cream is very concentrated, so a little goes a long way.

It also resists wash-off, preventing the need for frequent and disruptive re-applications. Applying Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream will not decrease the adhesion of dressings or tapes. It can be used in conjunction with moisture retentive adhesive dressings that promote healing, such as transparent films and hydrocolloids. For use:

• Prevention of skin damage associated with incontinence.
• As a moisturiser for severely dry or chapped skin.
