Milk Thistle is an antioxidant which has effects in supporting natural liver cleansing and traditional uses in Western Herbal Medicine as a liver tonic and to assist with healthy liver regeneration. Globe Artichoke supports bile production, secretion and flow which assists in the emulsification and digestion of dietary fats, can help to relieve symptoms of medically diagnosed Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and traditionally in Western Herbal Medicine, to reduce the occurrence in symptoms of dyspepsia and indigestion.

Silybum marianum (St Mary’s Thistle) extract dry concentrate 500mg
     From minimum dry fruit  35g (35,000mg)
     Standardised to Flavanolignans calculated as Silybin 400mg
Cynara scolymus(Globe Artichoke) extract dry concentrate 120mg
     From minimum fresh leaf 6g (6000mg)
Standardised to Caffeoylquinic Acids calculated as Cynarin 6mg

 

Directions for use:

Adults: Take 1 tablet daily with food or as advised by your health professional.

 

Appearance:

Large oval shaped, dark green film coated tablet with a break-bar on one side.  

Break-Bar: Tablet can be broken in half and/or crushed for ease of consumption

Description: Silybum marianum, which is commonly known as 'Milk Thistle' is a herbal plant that has been traditionally used in Western Herbal Medicine for its actions as a hepatoprotectant and liver tonic. It has also been used traditionally to assist with healthy liver regeneration and also to nourish and replenish the liver. Milk Thistle is still widely used today for the maintenance of liver health, to support natural detoxification processes of the liver and for its antioxidant effects in reducing free radical damage.

 

Name: Cynara scolymus (Globe Artichoke)

Description: Cynara scolymus, which is also referred to as 'Globe Artichoke' is a herb which helps to maintain healthy liver functioning. It has been used in traditional Western Herbal Medicine as a cholagogue and choleretic, which helps to promote bile flow from the gallbladder and liver. It has also been used traditionally as a bitter tonic, to stimulate gastric secretions and help to decrease symptoms of dyspepsia such as bloating, distension and flatulence. Globe Artichoke assists with digestion of dietary fats, supporting healthy blood lipids and relieving symptoms of medically diagnosed Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
