Low Adherent Dressing (Absorbent) 

Cutilin is a low-adherent dressing for exuding wounds. Supplied in sterile and non-sterile formats, Cutilin can be cut to suit, without linting.

Cutilin consists of three layers

1. Non woven backing which contains a dispersant core to ensure the dispersion of the exudate and help prevent strike through

2. Absorbent core which is 100% cotton

3. Polyolefin plastic film which provides a low-stick layer. The plastic film is attached to the absorbent core by multiple wicking points to ensure even distribution of the wound exudate.

HOW TO USE

Step 1:

Clean the wound with saline solution. Do not dry the wound bed.

Step 2:

Cutilin can be secured with an adhesive tape or bandage.

Step 3:

Cutilin can be left in place until the capacity of the pad is exhausted, which can be seen when exudate reaches the edges of the dressing.

Note:

The non-sterile bulk role can be sterilised using gamma irradiation or ethylene oxide sterilisation techniques
