Medi Levamed ankle support

Levamed is a soft support with integrated 3D silicone pads that compress soft tissue on the upper and lower ankle joints. It's pleasantly thin and ensures high comfort - even when worn in a shoe. 

An extended relief zone in the sensitive instep area improves day-to-day wearing, especially for users with high insteps. A 90-degree angle reduces wrinkling, while an emphasised arch and extended underfoot ensure a more precise and comfortable fit.

The Levamed ankle support is for indications that require soft tissue compression with additional local padding on the ankle joint, for example:

• Slight instabilities
• Sprains (distortions) and bruises
• Swelling and joint effusions (osteoarthritis/arthritis)

The Levamed 3D silicone pads offer a gentle massage effect and help reduce swelling (edema, hematomas). The compressive fabric in the ankle area can also improve body awareness (proprioception, or kinesthesia - our body's ability to sense movement, action, and location) and, in turn, support the guidance and stabilisation of the joint.

The unique comfort knit with a stretch zone at the top edge makes it easier to put on. In addition, the included donning aid made of balloon silk makes it even easier to put on and correctly position the Levamed support over the ankle and foot.
