PROMOGRAN PRISMA™ Wound Balancing Matrix is comprised of a sterile, freeze dried composite of 44% oxidized regenerated cellulose (ORC), 55% collagen and 1% silver-ORC. Silver-ORC contains 25% w/w ionically bound silver, a well-known antimicrobial agent.

In the presence of exudate, PROMOGRAN PRISMA™ transforms into a soft, conformable, biodegradable gel, and thus allows contact with all areas of the wound. 
PROMOGRAN PRISMA™ maintains a physiologically moist microenvironment at the wound surface. This environment is conducive to granulation tissue formation, epithelisation and optimal wound healing.

What is the role of silver in PROMOGRAN PRISMA™?
The dressing contains ionically bound silver, a well-known antimicrobial agent.
